Born & raised in Chicago, the idea for Huskie Tools started with Father & Son, Tom & Joe Itrich back in 1976,
the year America celebrated our bicentennial as an independent republic.
Experts in utility industry products Tom & Joe leveraged their knowledge and relationships to create a “customer first” culture and hand-selected each new Huskie Tools “family member” many who are still part of the company today.
As time moved forward other members of Tom’s family became part of the business instilling in each that Huskie Tools was “their” company as much as it was his.
Fast forward to today and nearly 50% of the original Huskie Tools work force is still our suburban Chicago headquarters. Every department shares the same passion and commitment to making the industry’s best, most durable utility lineman tools and products.
Alice Fulco, Manager, Inside Sales, 31-year Huskie Tools employee, said it best “from the very beginning we were always empowered to run the company as if it were our own, and to this day our Huskie Tools customers are treated like they are part of our extended family, because they are.”
